Our board members are the glue that hold our different departments together and make sure that we are working towards the same goal.
The social events team represents the heart of WUMA – it strives to foster a strong community within and between the different intakes. The common goal is to organize exciting events that strengthen the community that build the foundation for a memorable MSc Marketing experience and of course, for lifelong friendships. Every semester we have several events but just to give you a better idea what to expect, here are some highlights:
The Alumni & Partners teams is responsible for connecting the current MSc Marketing students with our corporate partners, as well as alumni and alumnae from our program. Their objective is to build bridges and create a smooth transition between graduation and the start of our professional career, as well as building a strong bond between current students and alumni and alumnae. A definitive highlight in the year are our Business Brunch, Networking Sessions and Virtual Business Workshops that we arrange together with our corporate partners.
The communications team makes sure that WUMA’s message and the WUMA spirit is spread loud and clearly throughout our social channels. The team members leverage their creative skills to keep you up to date on everything that’s happening. Their goal is to spread the message of what WUMA is all about, what it’s like to be an MSc Marketing student, inspire you with timely marketing topics and equip you with our super hot & sustainable WUMA merch. The treasury team is responsible for all of the club’s financial matters. The team members take care of WUMA’s finances in every area of the club. If any expenses are needed or finanical support agreements are set up, Treasury is there.
